About Us

I’m called Gary P. Nichols My better half and I are pet sweethearts so we took up the drive to raise these beautiful canine variety to fulfill the necessities of families who will need to claim or add another part to their loved ones. We used to raise Saint bernard for a long time and in this manner sold the business. After a decade we ran over the Labrador Retriever and it was all consuming, instant adoration! Our canines are a piece of our family and are brought up in our home. The little dogs are ruined, solid, cheerful and prepared to play; from our home to yours!

We keep our young doggies current on inoculations up until the hour of delivery and they will have a veterinarian wellbeing check prior to leaving us. Each of our doggies accompany AKC papers and come from champion lines. In spite of the fact that you might not have any desire to show your doggy, family is vital with regards to wellbeing and personality. Reach Us to Find out more.

ABOUT THE LABRADOR BREED

Physical Characteristics:
Labrador Retrievers are medium to large-sized dogs known for their sturdy build and athletic physique. They typically stand between 21.5 to 24.5 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh between 55 to 80 pounds, with males generally being larger than females. One of their most distinctive features is their otter-like tail, which is thick at the base and tapers to a point. Labradors have a short, dense double coat that is weather-resistant, providing protection against the elements. Their coat comes in three primary colors: black, yellow, and chocolate, with variations in shade and markings. Their friendly, expressive eyes convey intelligence and warmth, while their broad, expressive faces often feature a gentle, alert expression that adds to their overall charm.

Temperament:
Labrador Retrievers are renowned for their friendly, outgoing, and gentle nature, making them excellent family pets and companions. They possess an inherently good temperament and are known for their exceptional patience, especially with children. Labradors are highly social dogs and thrive on human interaction, often forming strong bonds with their families. They are affectionate and loyal companions, eager to please their owners and often displaying a playful and exuberant demeanor. Labradors are also known for their adaptability, remaining calm and composed in various environments and situations, which contributes to their popularity as therapy dogs and service animals.

Intelligence and Trainability:
Labrador Retrievers are highly intelligent dogs with a keen desire to learn and please their owners. They excel in obedience training and are known for their versatility in various canine sports and activities, including agility, obedience trials, and retrieving competitions. Labradors are quick learners and respond well to positive reinforcement techniques, such as praise, treats, and play. Their intelligence, combined with their strong retrieving instincts, makes them well-suited for a wide range of roles, including service dogs, therapy dogs, search and rescue dogs, and guide dogs for the visually impaired. With consistency, patience, and proper training, Labradors can excel in virtually any task or activity they are given.

Health and Care:
Labrador Retrievers are generally healthy dogs, but like all breeds, they can be prone to certain health issues. Common health concerns for Labradors include hip and elbow dysplasia, which are developmental conditions affecting the joints, as well as obesity, which can lead to various other health problems. Labradors may also be predisposed to certain genetic conditions, such as progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) and exercise-induced collapse (EIC). Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and routine veterinary care are essential for maintaining their overall health and well-being. Additionally, their double coat requires regular grooming to minimize shedding and keep their skin and coat healthy. Providing a nutritious diet, regular exercise, preventive veterinary care, and attention to their grooming needs can help ensure a long, happy, and healthy life for your Labrador Retriever.
